Dr. Catherine Ventresca
(Dentist)
I was born and raised locally, and attended E.L.Crossley high school before completing my undergraduate degree at Brock University in Health Sciences. In 2008, I graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of Western Ontario. I am delighted to provide dental treatment for people in the community that I call home.
I am very fortunate to work with an amazing team that shares the same passion of providing excellent patient care. I am an active member of several study clubs, as well as regional, provincial and national dental associations. I frequently seek out opportunities in continuing education that can enhance the care I give, and keep me up to date on the latest advancements in the field. I truly love what I do and I hope that it shows in the enthusiasm I have for dentistry and people of all ages. My goal is to give you the best care possible in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy exercising, cooking, being outdoors and traveling. My favorite way to spend my free time is with my husband and two incredible children.

Rhonda
(Office Manager)
I graduated, many moons ago, from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. I have been the Office Manager in this dental practice for the past 30 years. I thoroughly enjoy the variety of work that my job entails. I am able to stay involved with our patients and at the same time, use my business background to work behind the scene on the business aspect of the practice. I consider myself very lucky in that, over the years, many of our patients have become my friends and I look forward to continuing to work with them toward a common goal of achieving optimal dental health. I pride myself in being caring and empathetic toward the patients at Welland Smiles and try to approach each day with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. In my time away from the office I enjoy making memories with family and friends, spending time outdoors, downhill skiing, boating, kayaking, touring on the back of a motorcycle and travelling to new destinations.

I graduated from Niagara College as a Dental Assistant in 2006. After a few years of working, I decided to continue my love for the dental field by achieving my Dental Hygiene Diploma from Georgian College in 2011. I have actually had the pleasure to work as both a Dental Assistant and a Dental Hygienist at Welland Smiles. I continue my passion for learning by being an active member to local study clubs and dental associations. I hope to build long term relationship with clients and together help them achieve and maintain a healthy mouth and smile!
Jessica
(Registered Dental Hygienist)
Born and raised in Welland in a bilingual French and English speaking family, I knew at a young age that I wanted to work in the dental field. I pursued my dental studies at Niagara College where I received a certificate in Dental Assisting in 2011 and an advanced diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2013. I have had the opportunity to gain dental hygiene experience in Manitoba and Ontario that have molded me into the hygienist that I am today. I’m honoured to be a part of the Welland Smiles team and I look forward to meeting you and assisting in taking care of your oral health.
I am a dog loving, coffee drinking, gym addict who enjoys spending time doing DIY projects around the house, and when given the opportunity, does not need to think twice about traveling and volunteering in my favourite location, Haiti.
